I was delighted to receive my order ahead of the scheduled 12.30pm for lunch with my friends. The portions were sufficient and we had enough food to go around. However, my friends and I noticed that for most of our burgers from Dojo, the ingredients and buns were either charred or overcooked (on top of the fact that the burgers were all very flattened and looked unappetizing). I'd like to highlight one of the orders in particular, the "sumo burger" that had its meat charred on both sides and the bottom of the bun charred as well. In the end, my friend had to completely throw that side of the bun away and butchered about half the patty away to save what's left. My friend also had to get a snack after that as she still felt hungry even after having the butchered burger. It was disappointing and embarrassing for me as a host, having had serve my friend this almost inedible burger. Also for the "vege burger" set, it came with fries instead of the salad that we originally ordered for. Lucky thing was that it was made from potatoes so my vegetarian friend could still have some of it. Another friend also feedback to me that there were lots of bones in her Bulgogi Burger, which would be safer if this was pre-warned on the website or something as it could be a potential choking hazard. She also had trouble biting through and spitting out the bones through her braces. Moreover, my friends who ordered the rice bowls also commented that the rice was too dry. It was disappointing that my first order with Dojo had to be this way.

Happened to walk past this Japanese restaurant during lunch time and decided to give it a try since the burger looked delicious from picture. Although the pork bowls n burgers seemed to be the speciality of this restaurant, i ordered the fried chicken fillet burger n fries instead while a friend ordered the Grilled Pork Bowl. The food is pretty delicious and price is mid range between SGD10-12. As its pretty much self service (order at counter n self collection), there is hence no service charge. Noted that they have salted egg pork burger too!!!

Their Sumo burger is extraordinary. The crisp and juicy come together in an artery clogging combination that you wouldn't wanna miss for the world. It's a great concept. If you love pork, you must eat here. Once I got stuck in the rain & this humble eatery was the only one open at the Boat Quay in the afternoon. They've created this West meets Japan concept with some really concentrated & eclectic Asian flavours yet with the appeal of what you expect from a burger joint. It feels intimate enough to just go with a friend or there's an outside section where bigger groups can hang oht too. Also, they take their kitchen craft seriously (I took a peek).

Good pork burgers with a nice local twist. I had the pork version of the popular ramly burger which they cheekily called P. Ramly. The chips are very tasty too which feel like double fried. Washing it down with a hitachino nest beer does the trick for me!

First time I had the little dragon, I was amaze by how tender the pork turn out. I almost thought that I had teriyaki Chicken!!! Very good Went back the 2nd time, had the Hadoken, a bit disappointing as it was suppose to be spicy but I couldn't taste the spiciness, the pork is still as good. Still keeps me belly happy :) I will go back and try other burgers soon...

A place for burger lovers. The one n only vegetarian burger available in this cafe is really worth the price as it comes tgt w drink and fries! The staffs are also very friendly in recommending burgers when u cannot make a decision of which to order if u r a meat eater. Not forgetting tt there are also outdoor seats if u wanna get away from the indoor crowd.
